Articles and updates that have come out in recent weeks tells that the WhatsApp team wants to give more power to group admins and along with it the capability to create true communities where different groups could be bought together. This beta version brings out new details on creating a community.
According to the source’s screenshot, before linking various groups to the community, it will ask to assign a name to them and give an optional description. But there is more to find out about this feature. Next beta updates will tell you which tools communities give to group administrators to manage their groups better.
As this feature is under development process. At present there is no information on the management tools that a community admin can depend on nor there is any release date known for the feature to be made available to beta testers.
